I'm not into dope but I agree with Xochitl L. I think it refers to a place to hide (stash) dope.

Stash-spot does usually mean a place to hide things. The word stash alone was/is used in dope circles to mean "supply". Ex. "He kept his stash in his attic" so the attic is the stash-spot. In that context, it is synonymous with "cache" and means to hide, but in the US we commonly "stash" things and it doesn't always mean "to hide". At times it means to place out of the way. Ex.: "He stashed it behind the couch" or as a command: "Stash it in the closet!"; "After work, I always put my tools in a stash-spot in the garage."

Of course, it can refer to anything. "She kept her jewelry stashed under her mattress." or "There was a large quantity of guns stashed in the barn" or "The family had a stash of food and water in the cellar for emergencies."
