Question How to translate "cana" o "canas" in one word?

I've searched and appears to be Gray hair, and when you have many is white hair or grey hair.

Is there a better way? because one more word in a text that has already the word Cana and canas repeated... it's a lot.

So I've been suggested "hoary" but I don't quite know if that's common enough.

As a matter of fact, some co-workers have never heard of it.

    Any help is appreciated.

Según el contexto, podrías ser más específico y usar "gray headed" o "gray bearded".

I've found "hoary" is OK: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dic.../english/hoary

You can find some synonyms here: https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/gray-headed

I think I'm going to go with hoary, bc otherwise the word count is going to be a lot more.

    Thanks a lot!

If anyone else thinks of one, please share.
