Smile Is this sentence gramatically correct?

Hello friends, are these sentences gramatically correct?

In this point, the expectations of earning a great deal of money quickly often turned out to be as unsubstantiated as the dream of a family reunion. Thus, the general tendency of these groups were to continue living in Japan but with their families, the decisions were taken in different circumstances and based on personal and social network’s point of views.

Hi, I hope this helps. Let´s wait for the natives version... By the way, do you have the version in Spanish? It would be easier that way. Good luck...

PS: It was kind of difficult without the Spanish version, so please check it
