    Default charge card

    Does anybody know what is a charge card? How would you translate it into Spanish? Any suggestions?

    Hola estefaniar.

    It's another name for a targeta de credito.

    That's what they were called many years ago when credit cards were first invented and we used the phrase "charge it!". I think that now, it might also apply to a debit card.

    Here's Investopedia's definition: Charge Card Definition | Investopedia.

    Charge cards are similar to credit cards, but they do not allow you to transfer balances from one month to the following, which means that you have to pay the whole balance by the end of a month period. They just provide short-term financing!
