    Question hare-like and tortoise-like portfolios

Hi everybody. Could somebody help with the above expressions in the following context: "The hare-like unrebalanced portfolio peaked at a wealth multiple of 2.59 in 1999, while the tortoise-like rebalanced portfolio registered a wealth multiple of only 2.40." I gather that the sentence refers to the speed with which these portfolios garnered returns, but have no clue to the correct Spanish expressions for the phrases in bold. I would greatly appreciate suggestions from finance experts.
