    Any ideas?

    Hi Sandra:

I wonder if this is Spanish for the phrase "turn-key". We use that in situations where something is bought and is completely ready to go or to use without having to do anything further to the product or object. Such as buying a house or a car and all you have to do is "turn the key" y ya!

Yes, Vicente!!! That is exactly the translation! Turnkey contract!
    Thanks so much, my friend.
I think this translation is going to give me a headache!!!

so amazing! I had a translation a few days ago that included the term "turnkey" (I believe it was like that, one word)... it was about an equipment that the client made, and I understood it was like "ready to use"... anyway, I just found this post today! bad timing, but I did good!

    Default "Turnkey"

Yes, Laura. This term appears all the time in translations, because manufacturers generally wish to emphasize the fact that the product is "ready to use" and using the product is very simple (= you do not need to be an engineer to understand the instructions).

    Hola!

    Saludos
