What is a USM number and how would it be translated into Spanish? Anybody know?

It is a court case where an illegal alien is being sentenced. I suspect US Marshall Number is the meaning, but am not certain. All the documents I can find just say USM number.

Yes, it refers to something in a criminal case, but I don't find the use of USM in the list of acronyms you suggest. Guess I'll keep looking. Thanks anyway! I may call the federal court here to ask. K

It's United States Marshal Number, the number of the notice the party received about the commencement of the lawsuit.

A suggestion: Notificación Nº
