Thread: Globemark - Anyone who can assist me with this?

"The client acknowledges that the company corporate logo, and the Globemark design are trademarks of the company."
Everything is fine except for the word "Globemark". Is there anyone who can give me ideas concerning the meaning for this translator's brain-teaser-like term?

Sure, Clara. Quite frankly, I guess I will have to agree with your viewpoint. Unless someone comes up with a different idea, I will take this one. I was also thinking that the tricky word we are talking about is just a name.

Could it be the joint of two words?
In Spanish when talking about marketing I have read the term: "Marca Global". It means a worldwide product, a product that is sold in all the countries with the same name.
For example: Dove, Cif, Comfort, Hellman's, Knorr, Lipton, Axe, Lux, Ponds and Rexona are all "Global marks" from Unilever.

So my try would be:
El cliente reconoce que el logo corporativo de la compañía, y el diseño de la Marca Global son marcas registradas de la compañía.
