    Default Treating Physician/Practice

    Gracias

    From Word Reference:

    practice ['præktɪs] nombre
    5 (local) Jur bufete
Med consulta: Dr. Polo has a medical practice in Madrid, el doctor Polo tiene una consulta en Madrid

A practice is a group of professionals who have formed a business. This seems to be used mostly for law (law practice) and medicine (medical practice).

As Mariacleck said, it may refer to group practice. In Spanish we call it equipo médico.

In English, "practice" does not refer to the specialty of the doctors in the group. "Practice" means a group of doctors who form a business. They might have the same specialties, or they might have different specialties.

It might even be just one doctor who operates his own business, rather than being part of a clinic. You would say "He has a medical practice."
