Thread: Acid-related disorders

Can anybody help me translate "acid-related disorders"? My target audience is US Spanish, mainly Mexican and Central American. Thanks in advance!

I think Vicky's right, but I'm not a medical expert, so perhaps, someone with a little more experience in the medical field can help.

Visiting Wyeth´s website for Mexico (big pharma!) I came across "trastornos ácido-pépticos" which I like the best. AstraZeneca´s website in Spain (leader with its ****** in the manufacturing of drugs against these disorders) shows a more literal translation "enfermedades relacionadas con el ácido" which I particularly don´t like that much. Hope it helps!
