    Que tal, tengo una duda con respecto a una traduccion sobre un articulo de osteoporosis: es la frase Head-to-need studies

    Aqui esta la frase en contexto:

    raloxifene appears equivalent to the bisphosphonates when assessing placebo-controlled trials of each **** (no head-to-need studies performed), but cause bisphosphonates also protect...

    Luis, are you sure it's not a typo for "head to head studies"? That would make more sense.

    In the same translation the phrase head to head is mentioned too, thats why I have that question.

    If you want to translate "head-to-head studies", then it would be "estudios comparativos directos"

    I have already translated that phrase, what I think Head-to-need studies could be in spanish as an explanation is: estudios para saber las necesidades o que es lo que se le suministrará al paciente.
