How would you translate this paragraph below?? I am having the worst time doing this.. HELP PLEASEEEE!

"To improve theoutlook for heart attack survivors, a team of Johns Hopkins University researchers led by Andre Levchenko, Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering, is working on a biologically inspired nanoengineered patch to repair the damaged area in the heart. "

    THANK YOU!!!

Thank you both. couldn't I have used nanoconstruído instead of "métodos de nanoingeniería" or "por medio de nanoingeniería"? I used nanoconstruído in the title of the article, which is "A Nanoengineered Patch for the Damaged Heart" <---my version: "Un Parche Nanoconstruído para el Corazón Dañado" (I know that in Spanish you often don't capitalize every word of the title, but my client likes it that way..)

    Rodrigo:

another question, can you please tell me if these two senteces are correct. Please see in bold the sentences I had trouble with! thanks so much!

    Paragraph 1:

    English:
What was completely unexpected, however, was that size differences of the scaffold ridges affected the cells’ shape, orientation, alignment, communication with neighboring cells, and propagation of electrical impulses in very different ways, suggesting that cells can sense differences in the nano-texture of the surrounding matrix.

    Paragraph 2:
This is one of the first studies showing that nanosized surface features are a major driver of cellular behavior, a potentially important discovery for the field of tissue engineering.

    Bye.
