    Default N*m - kgf*m - KW

    Are the following measurements usually used in Latin American Spanish? What do they stand for?

    N*m
    kgf*m
    KW

    Thanks!

    Default units

    Hi Mariana,

    N*m = Newton by meter = Torque
    kgf*m Kilogram (force) by meter = Torque
    KW = kiloWatt = Power

    Cheers

    Default Conventions

    Hello!
    The units are universal conventions, so meters is always writter as "m".
    N.m would mean Newton by meter everywhere in the world.
    Like the symbols for chemical elements.

    Cheers!
