Default How would you transalte "certifiant" and "correspondant"?

    Hi,

I was pretty disappointed when I looked up online how to translate "certifiant" and "correspondant" into englishUS.
Why I have so far is:
>> "...data concerning them by contacting the Data Protection officer designated by the office..."
-"Signature du certifiant">>"signature of certificating agent"

I am not very convinced by those two translations.
    Any suggestions?

    maybe this can help ...

le certifiant : the certificate holder

    Frank.
