    Default Translate Drill Mixer in French?

    Hi,

    I am trying to translate the following sentence into french (France):
    "Thoroughly blend with drill mixer prior to each use."
    I already used the verb "mélanger" with "blend", and I dont want to sound to repetitive and say "mélangeur" for "mixer". Also, I have no idea how to translate "drill".

    Hi naby! Does this refer to a construction project (rather than food mixing)? Do you know what is being mixed...grout, paint, cement, etc?

    mélangez bien avec un mixeur plongeant avant chaque usage

    I have the same questions as Vicente, is this about food or about something else ? (prior to each use) ?

    Hi Frank and vicente,

    Believe me I tried my best to get some more context from the client. Images, files...anything! But nothing. I chose the same translation as the one you provided Frank, but without the "plongeant", which stands for "drill" I suppose. I thought "drill" was for something repetitive isn't it? I'm not sure I understand how "plongeant" could fit here. In any case, thanks a lot for helping out.

    Hi Naby...my guess is that in this case "drill" refers to an electric drill to which a mixing blade/paddle is attached. Used for mixing paint, cement, etc. Similar to a food blender in function.

    I think I got it but just to make sure, do you mean like a "bras éléctrique" to which the blades are attached in french?

    My understanding of French is EXTREMELY limited so I can't say yes or no.

    Here is what I imagine they are talking about...or something similar. The blade is inserted into the drill chuck and the whole thing becomes a "drill mixer", which is a generic term for different styles of drills and blades.
