How would an Argentine express idea of working off a debt, as in: "Here's a way to work off your debt."? Anyone?

Hi Philabiblion,
I am not sure whether this phrase can have a figurative meaning. In Spanish, we use a similar phrase to reffer to a monetary debt1 or a favor2 or a fault3.
Depending on that... I would say:
1 Esa es otra forma de pagar tu deuda.
2 Esa es otra forma de devolverme el favor.
3 Con eso también puedes compensar tu error.
Regards,
In this context your form 1 would be appropriate.
Thanks again clarab for your knowledge.
"Lo podemos arreglar de otra forma" When you are asked for a bribe, or If someone makes a sexual propose in echange of money or a debt
