Thread: A friend and I need help with a letter I am writing

I would like to say: I am excited to write you this letter.

I would have said: Estoy divertido de escribir esta carta y tambien habla de mio y donde vivo.

He said: Estoy muy emocionado de escribir esta carta y te digo de mi mismo y donde yo vivo

Is one better than the other? Or would both of them work?

The second option is much better than the first one (the first one is actually wrong and grammatically incorrect). However, I would make some changes to the second option: "Estoy muy emocionado de escribirte esta carta y de contarte sobre mi y sobre donde vivo"

Hmm, Both of the sentences you said were wrong in some parts....In my opinion, the correct one would be: "Estoy muy emocionado de escribir esta carta y contarte de mi y del lugar donde vivo"
