    Default Need help with older translation

    Hello! I am writing something set in the 1500s, and I am not sure how much Spanish has changed from then to now. Would "buonas noches" have been used for "good evening" back then? And "friend" - would people have used "amigo" still, or would that have been something else?

    I'm not sure about "amigo", buy as regards "Buenas noches (not "Buonas"), i think it would have been used
