Not sure I understand what illusion me means because I don't think that the noun illusion has a verb form in English.
In Spanish we do have a verb form for ilusión which is ilusionar (the act of creating an illusion on someone).
One way could be: ilusióname.
Hello Melany!
Another option could be "Hazme ilusionar"
Hope it helps
Hola,
ilusionar could also be to raise one's hopes or to make excited. It depends on the context. Illusion in English is generally defined as a false representation or distortion of reality, so it has a negative connotation. I've seen "ilusionar" associated with "false hopes" as in
No me ilusiones con algo que no me puedas dar
but could it also be positive?
Ilusióname could be "get me excited/raise my hopes" or "deceive me/give me false hopes"
Any thoughts?
Saludos
