Hi, I need to figure out this quote from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Could somebody please help?

The quote is "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

I would say..."La vida transcurre rápidamente. Si de tanto en tanto no te detienes y miras a tu alrededor, puedes perdértelo". I would still need to know what is it that you might miss...

Hi!..I think it refers to life itself. So, as Gentle said, it would be something like:

La vida transcurre rápidamente. Si de tanto en tanto no te detienes y miras a tu alrededor, puedes perdértela

I also thought it could be like you might "miss the train" :-), a metaphor for the train of life. "I missed the train and then the traffic was at state..." sang Alex Turner with his Arctic Monkeys.
