Thread: Muhammad Ali Quote in Spanish

Hey guys,

It would be really cool if someone could help me translate this great quote from Muhammad Ali.

Of course, as is the way with these things, I'll have a go at it myself but my Spanish is very weak! GT in brackets means I've used Google Translate to see what their translation of that particular word is in the case of vocab like 'desire' or 'skill'.

"Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them - a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill, and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill." Muhammad Ali

"Campeones no hacen en gimnasios. Campeones hace/n de algo que tienen follo de ellos - un deseo (GT?), un sueño, una visión. Ellos necesitan tener la habilidad (GT?) y la voluntad (GT?). Pero la voluntad... "

I don't know the word for 'must' or how to go much further with that.

"Los campeones no se hacen en los gimnasios, los campeones se hacen de algo que tienen en lo profundo de su ser - un deseo, un sueño, una visión. Ellos deben tener la habilidad, y la voluntad. pero la voluntad debe ser más fuerte que la habilidad"

the spanish word for 'must' is 'debe' realy the infinitive mode of the verb is 'deber', there are for spanish much more conjugations
yo(I) debo
tu(you) debes
el/ella/esto(he/she/it) debe
nosotros(we) debemos
vosotros(you) debeis
ellos(they) deben
...
