    I find that Google Translate does a fairly good job, if you´re looking to understand the meaning.

    Yes, for meaning only Google translate works well. Apart from this, translate.reference.com/ is also helpful.

    Another site I use a lot is English to French, Italian, German & Spanish Dictionary - WordReference.com. It does a good job explaining the tricky stuff.
