    Default 30,000 Mt/y

Total volumes of rock and ore handled in the global mining industry amount to approximately 30,000 Mt/y. This figure includes ore and barren rock, and covers metals, industrial minerals and coal.

    ¿Alguien sabe qué significa 30,000 Mt/y?
    de antemano gracias

    Hi DarakGreen,
Mt/y probably stands for million tons per year.

That's it! A Megaton equals a million tons.

En este caso, como habla de la cantidad que maneja la industria minera global en un año, me parece que debe tratarse de millones de toneladas.
