Thread: How to translate these English words?

I am very new to Spanish language, I tried to translate the following words into Spanish, are the translation correct? Thank you for help!

Font name= nombre de fuente
Font size = tamaño de letra
Font style = estilo de fuente
Bold= bola
Italic = itálico
Strikeout = Tachado
Underline = subrayar
Font = fuente
Customize font and colors = Personalizar fuente y los colores
Change Font = cambie la fuente
Use default = Use default

It looks like you need it for a software menu (or buttons), so might need to take into account character/text expansion.
It sounds better like

Font name= Nombre de la fuente
Font size = Tamaño de la fuente (Although "letra" is correct, try to be consistent!)
Font style = Estilo de la fuente
Bold= Bola or Negrita (depending on flavor)
Italic = Itálicas o Cursiva (depending on flavor)
Strikeout = Tachado
Underline = Subrayado
Font = Fuente
Customize font and colors = Personalizar la fuente y los colores (if text expansion would be an issue, you can delete the articles and use Personalizar fuente y colores)
Change Font = Cambie la fuente
Use default = Use "something (would it be "la fuente"?)" predeterminada. Maybe you can go straight with "Fuente predeterminada".

En cuanto a la traducción de la palabra font como fuente,es un calco del inglés. En español siempre se llamó tipo al tipo de letra hasta la divulgación de las computadoras, como explica el siguiente artículo:

For something like this, I would install the Spanish language package in Windows or MS Office. They have already translated these terms. No need to re-invent the wheel. This will give you consistency with the Operating System.
