Thread: Proper abbreviations

Hello,

I am working on translating a document that includes some sales figures, and one of the lines in English is "Non-salaried labor cost as % of sales". I translated this to "Trabajo no asalariado como % de las ventas".

I have two questions. First, can this translation be improved? Second, it would be very helpful if I could abbreviate some of the words, as space is extremely limited in this document. Can any of these words be abbreviated?

Costo de empleados no asalariados como % de las ventas

I know this probably does not help you with the space issue. Perhaps you could use smaller fonts?
