    Haha...OK however unlikely, I suppose anything is possible but the real issue is what the poster is asking. Without making assumptions, and basing it on what she(?) has written, do you have an opinion on what her question is.

    Is she doing a translation job and is looking to translate the sentence, or is she writing an explanation of an action that might result in a tort claim. i.e., does she want us to translate something for her and what would that be? Or do you think she's asking if being hit in the face by a tart is the basis for a tort claim?

    We definitely need the OP to clarify. But I think she is asking how we would translate the word "tort" (the legal term).

    Primero debemos saber si es "tort o tart".

    Luego lo que preguntas acerca de si puedes cambiar algo...

    una traducción siempre tiene que sonar bien en el idioma preciso. Una traducción literal no funciona casi nunca. No creo que por una pequeña cosa es conveniente dirigirte al cliente.

    Asi es! No es claro que quiere traducir y como siempre, parece que el poster ha desaparecido después de postear la duda.
