    Default Translate "better to know"

    What would be the best translation for this simple phrase: better to know.

    The context is not really known. It was said by a person in a hospital when talking to another patient. We don't know what his intention was.

    In the general sense would it be mejor que sepa; mejor que sabe or...?

    Será mejor saberlo (que no)

    Me imagino a alguien que le dice a otro: Será mejor saber que tienes el higado hecho polvo que no, ¿no?
