    Hola. ¿Cuál sería la traducción de "gave" en el texto siguiente?: and he pulled down his shirt-sleeves, and slipped on his coat, and pulled an old straw hat low over his eyes, and gave one defiant glance ere saying "Mornin´," and turning on his heel.
    ¿Puede ser "lanzó una mirada"?

    No me cierra mucho "lanzò". Yo dirìa "lo mirò de forma desafiante"

    YO NO SUGERÌ LANZAR UNA MIRADA. POR EL CONTRARIO DIJE QUE NO ME CERRABA ESA FRASE. LA MIA FUE " LO MIRO DE FORMA DESAFIANTE"

    Creo que la expresión "lanzar una mirada" le da aún más énfasis a lo que viene después, que es "desafiante"... no diría, por ejemplo, "le lanzó una mirada tierna".. qué les parece?
