    Default Help with this phrase

I need some help with the following phrase:

"You can't stop the waves but you can learn to surf."

    I'm coming up with:

"No pudes parar las ondas pero pudes apprender ???"

I don't know the equivalent for beach surfing or if there's a more common way to say it. Any help/suggestions are much appreciated.

Hi , that means that when you are going through hard time, you should learn to deal with it instead of trying to hide or reject it. It depends on the situation. It might well have to do with people in some working context.
Supposing you are in a not very comfortable with your working evironmet and you are not kind of your coleagues because of their attitude or treatment, etc so that expression can be used.

In a few words, it means something like " no trates de frenar los problemas, aprende a lidiar con ellos / a manejarlos/ a sacar lo positivo de esa (mala) situaciòn

    How about?

No puedes parar las olas del mar pero puedes aprender a navegar.

I did not use "surf" because I think "navegar" captures the idea better
