    Hola a todos. ¿Cómo se traduciría "upon the strength of our plan" en la siguiente frase?:
    "No doubt," I answered, and went straight off to an architect I knew, who upon the strength of our plan contrived to keep a sickly wife and various unnecessary children.

    This one is a little tricky. I'm guessing that the writer and an associate(s) were planning some type of construction and the writer visited the architect to employ him in the project and the architect viewed the plan as a means of earning money for his family.

    I have no idea how to say that in Spanish so that it would convey the meaning.
