    Default my being anybody

Hola. ¿Cómo se traduciría "my being anybody" en la frase siguiente?: Although I had, and have, a perfect horror of any woman imagining she has formed an attachment for me, I felt my anger rise at the tone in which Mr. Henderson put the very idea of my being anybody in such affairs aside.

    Hola Antonio.
Yo entiendo "to put aside the very idea of my being anybody" como "ningunear" o "menospreciar".

    I agree with F. Calderon's interpretation.
