Thread: ¿what is the right price for a translation?

I am new in the translation field. I just registered in a freelance page to start working in digital content and translations, specially from english to spanish, but the truth is that I do not know what is the cost of a text.


Should I charge by the number of words? For instance if the text is related to investment news and analytics, what should be the price for word? I have been reading that is between 0,03 and 0,08 $ by word, is that right?


but, what should be the criteria to propose a person a specific price?
