Thread: ¿Cómo traducir: Condescending / Condescendiente? EN/ES;ES/EN

El fin de semana hablando con traductores orientales, tuve un intercambio de ideas que llegó a mi confusión y me gustaría dilucidar la situación con la poble que se encuentra en este lugar.

Condescendiente, tiene tenor positivo en castellano/español
"Que condesciende o tiende a acomodarse a los gustos o deseos ajenos, intr. Acomodarse o adaptarse por bondad al gusto y voluntad ajenos."

Mientras que en inglés tiene una alta connotación negativa.

adjective: having or showing an attitude of patronizing superiority.

¿Cuál es la correcta o mejor forma de traducir AMBAS palabras?
No es para un trabajo, es para el enriquecimiento cultural.

Well I did some research over the weekend, and! interviewing, got really digging, and found:

ES to EN - Condescendiente: compliant, acquiescent

Now, EN to ES, Still a mystery, what I found in lunfardo Argentino (slang) is "Sobrador" like one that puts above others. But it is not exactly right, maybe we need to make a new word.
