La luna está llena de miradas, que se perdieron buscando una respuesta.
Sounds like poetry or lyrics to a song.
From my stand point seems like it's analog to staring at something beautiful then losing themselves looking for an answer OR! unbeknown to us looking towards something mesmerizing, asking the question ¿Could I get there?, losing themselves in the process of trying to answer that.
Since it's very likely what I stated at first, more context is needed to make a proper interpretation, translating will get you nowhere.
Where did you got it from Jinderharjinder?

Hi! In Spanish it's La luna está llena de miradas, que se perdieron buscando una respuesta. Can you tell me the meaning?
Hi jinderharjinder
I agree with eidjit, it looks like poetry. Is that so? Could you please give us some context?
If it is indeed poetry, and you already have a translation, I would suggest that the meaning is yours to find
That's the beauty of poetry after all.
Hi! Thanks for your response. It was written in Spanish ..."La luna está llena de miradas, que se perdieron buscando una respuesta." From a Spanish chap I was dating. No idea what it means. :/
It is definitely open to interpretation.
In my opinion, it describes the state of a dreamer or someone lost in the search for the impossible or something they cannot hope to find, or attain.

Hate to break the news but the chap you were dating was neither Hemingway nor García Márquez himself. It seems he might be suit for copyright infringement. Just check this please: La luna está llena de miradas que se perdieron buscando una respuesta.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I've thought you might want to see him behind bars! Lol
