wow vos anda a dormir..... I think I translated it to wow you get some sleep. Am I correct? I am so new to spanish..

If that's what it means could some one please translate.

You are right, she or he was asking you to get some sleep. Now you can say you followed the advice...

    Buenas,

Don't apologize, this is what we are here for! Ok so here is a little translation for you:

Gracias, ya he dormido anoche. No fue mucho pero por lo menos dormi* un poco. Gracias por el complemento sobre mi nuevo icono.

*There is an accent here over the "i."

    Hope this was helpful!

    Un saludo

You mean compliment?, like when somebody says "your icon is beautiful" ?. That will be translated as cumplido.

"Gracias por el cumplido sobre mi nuevo icono". Complemento is another thing in Spanish although sometimes we talk "anglicisms" and have the tendency to translate things as they sound. Ex. Apply=aplicar, that's incorrect, in the US the hispanic population will understand you, outside the US you can aplicar pintura in a pared but never aplicar para un trabajo, if anything you can be aplicado en el trabajo, the meaning is totally different.

Se traduciría: Gracias, pude dormir algo anoche, no mucho pero al menos es algo.Gracias por elogiar mi nuevo icono.
