Thread: Need a little bit of translation for a map

Hello,

I have just finished reading a very good book which has a discription of a treasure map in it. Having enjoyed the book so much and being a cartographer, I thought I might try to reproduce this map. My problem is that the writing on the map is supposed to be in Spanish.

Would it be okay for me to post the writing here in English for someone to translate into Spanish?

Sorry, I did the last post late last night and was too tired to concentrate . I think it probably helps if I include the text

"The resting place of the Shadow and the Lilitongue of Gefreda, in the depths near the Isle of Devils, this Twenty-Eighth day of March, Year Of Our Lord Fifteen-Ninety- Eight. Francisco Mendes, Society of Jesus."

The Shadow is a ship and the Lilitongue of Gefreda is an object with strange powers.

There is also a distance written on the map of "Eight and one half miles".

If somebody could rtanslate these into Spanish for me that would be great.
