Thumbs up Any help with this frase..

    Dear colleagues..
I will deeply appreciate if any of you provides me with a viewpoint on the most accurate meaning of the following phrase that was included by an English-speaking writer( by the way..I think I kind of hate writers' style):
"Absent some mass hypnosis or incredibly complex psy-op campaign, skewing the results on a broad scale is nearly impossible."
So, anything you may have in mind concerning my thread, that you consider to be helpful, will be quite welcomed.

    Thanks,
    RAUL.

    cheers

    I'm not at all sure,
but since you want as many opinions as possible ...

Uouuu!...I had to copy it just to try to be as faithful as possible :

I vote for this version. Skew is the clue word

    falsear!!!!

Thanks for the reply to my thread. In answering your question concerning the context of the phrase I am referring to, a more detailed of it is described as follows:
In the one instance, the task is inherently pure speculation on an action that has yet to be taken-—even the respondent can't say with complete certainty whether the response is true or not. Exit polling, on the other hand, is sampling the results of an event that just happened. Absent some mass hypnosis or incredibly complex psy-op campaign, skewing the results on a broad scale is nearly impossible.
Again..the first words of the paragraph was something I solved without a hitch whatsoever. The problem was what I just posted in this forum.
    Thanks,

    RAUL.
