Thread: Translation for Day Bed?

I was wondering if there is a better translation for "day bed" than "cama de día," which i've seen used from time to time, but am not sure it is the correct translation. Any ideas?

You can say "sofá cama" but it also refers to another kind of bed which is not a "sofá cama" and you usually use it as a coach and as a bed if you need it. I think we don't a have a precise name for it. It depends on the type of "day bed" you're looking for. You can have any of these in a sitting room to watch Tv, for instance and they turn beds if you have guests.

I want to make clear I'm talking about Argentina. Experience has tought me that we all speak Spanish but terms sometimes differ quite a lot from one country to another.
