    Default Greetings, Campers!

    Hi there!

I'm starting up a free summer camp for kids in Oakland, and would love to get some help with Spanish translations for a neighborhood flyer. I studied Spanish a few years ago, but am still building up enough confidence to put my writing out there. Thank you so much for any help you can offer to translate these phrases:

Looking for something fun to do this summer?
It's too hot to stay inside. Guess what?
    The camp is back!
Cooking, sports, performing arts, and much more!

    Thanks!!!!! : )

    Hi Shannon,
It's great you are starting the free summer camp, and even greater that you are making an effort to include the spanish speaking population! Kudos!
The above are my translations. Hope they help!

Hello, I would like to make a couple of changes, although Dragona has offered a good version.

Looking for something fun to do this summer? ¿Busca hacer algo divertido este verano?
It's too hot to stay inside. Guess what? Hace mucho calor para quedarse adentro. ¿Adivine qué?
The camp is back! ¡El campamento de verano regresó!
Cooking, sports, performing arts, and much more! ¡Cocina, deportes, actuación y mucho mas!

    I like your translations girls!!

Although, since it's a camp for kids I would use a much less formal language!

    Here are my suggestions:

Absolutely agree, Vero...it's for kids not their parents!!!

    Default Thanks so much!

Thanks everyone for your help, and for the insight on outreach to kids versus adults. This is definitely something I didn't think about in previous flyers.
