Thread: How do you say destroyer (warship)

I have found cazatorpedero, but I think that's an obsolete term because modern destroyers do much more.

I always have read "destructor".

Yeah!! I would go with destructor too.
I think I saw that name in the game where you have a grid and you have to sink the oponent's ships by calling the coordenates

"Batalla Naval" Verónica, at least in Mexico.

"Hundir la flota", at least in Spain.

No doubt, the term you're looking for is DESTRUCTOR.

And in case you need it too, the equivalent of Warship in Spanish is: BUQUE DE GUERRA.
