As you ladies know "time to" is different than "time of".
"Time to" might refer to the time interval between a given point and the first sign of a symptom such as in a medical experiment or a patient under observation.
Ex. The patient was placed under observation at 9AM and the first symptom occurred at 10AM.
Time of first reported symptom
Se reportó el primer síntoma a las 10 de la mañana.
Time to first reported symptom
La hora que se reportó el primer síntoma fue una hora.
So I'm wondering if it shouldn't be something like "cuanto tiempo hasta que se reportó el primer síntoma" .

I'd say "Tiempo (transcurrido) hasta que se reportó el primer síntoma". Good observation!
Si, definitivamente debe ser eso: el tiempo que transcurrió hasta que se reportó el primer síntoma. Vicente, you're always so right!!!
