Thread: Could Someone Please Check My Translation

I am certain that there are some errors in my Spanish translation. I am new to the Spanish language, but I tried my best to translate it. Any help/corrections would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

During the summer, me and my friend Steve went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The trip to the beach was very exciting. The long drive from my house to the beach took seven hours. We went to the ocean when we arrived. The (blacklisted word) at the beach were very beautiful. After we went to the ocean, we went to a water park. It was very hot and humid outside. At night we drank many beers and went dancing. The parties at the beach were fun. During the day we relaxed and played basketball and football. We went home after five enjoyable days at the beach. I will always have memories of this vacation.
