Question mainly on torso - help!

Hey! Could you please help me into translating:
The rash ((for chicken pox)) is mainly on the torso.

Some countries say viruela, others varicela. And I am sure there are other ways to say it; I just gave you the ones I know.
    Hope it helps!

I'd say in this case it's "varicela". I think "viruela" is "smallpox", a more serious disease.

    Hope this helps.

To tell you the truth, I was somewhat confused cause I looked it up and there were the two of them...
In the case of viruela it said viruela loca, I guess last name is important here. I WOULD DEFINETELY TRANSLATE IT AS VARICELA THOUGH!

See how interesting these comments from another forum are,

A slang expression/colloquial way of referring to chicken pox (la varicela) is la viruela loca (at least among some people, and then they use la viruela negra for smallpox). Then, because of the natural tendency to shorten things, people just say they had la viruela. From experience doing medical histories, I know they mean that had chicken pox, not smallpox.
    and this
The American Heritage Spanish Dictionary reconoce "viruela" como: smallpox (enfermedad), pockmark (cicatriz), y chiken pox.
In some places in the South of Spain chickenpox is also called, vulgarly, palluelas.

    And according to wikipedia

Thanks for such grat contributions to my friend Sandy and to Chimichamo. I would also like to suggest the word "torax" as a translation for "torso"

    Hope it helps
