Thread: "I won't have anything.."

En el siguiente parrafo, hay una frase que se me resiste, está en negrita:

I've learned something from my kids, and I think it applies
to work just as much as it does to home lite...
I

have to protect myself, my energy level, my emotional
and physical health, my quiet-time, and my work
time. If I don't protect myself, I won't have anything
left for them anyway.

Lo que entiendo es:

"Si no me protego a mi mismo, no tendré cualquier cosa dejar para ellos de cualquier manera".

Vamos, que no tiene sentido...lo que traduzco...
¿cómo sería?

Aquí te dejo mi opción:

"De todas formas/En cualquier caso/En todo caso, si no me protejo, no me quedará nada para ellos"

"have something left" significa "quedar", como en "Do you have any coin left?" (¿te queda alguna moneda?).

Por lo tanto, won't have anything left es la negación de lo anterior, por lo que debe traducirse como tal.
