    Default The word "slang"

    What is the translation for the word "slang".

    Some things don't translate exactly, I wanted to let a friend know that it is english slang. I wasn't sure how to say this in spanish though.

    It does not have quite the same zing to it, but what do you think of "argot", or "dialecto"?

    The word "jerga" could be another option for the translation of "slang".
