    Default idiom translation

    Can someone please translate the english idiom "I will be in the doghouse" for me? Such as I upset my wife and now I will be in the doghouse. Thank you

    Hi,

    "To be in the doughouse" is used in this case, like you said, when a husband has done something wrong so his wife sends him (figuratively speaking) to the doughouse, meaning that he is in trouble.

    So, in Spanish, you could say "estoy castigado".
