Inmigrantes de Irlanda, Albania, Polonia, Italia. Hombres, mujeres, niños, suciedad y maletas, todo junto. Todo un largo dia, la larga procesión de archivos, paso a paso, bultos demorados y troncos y cajas

The BLUE is where Google changed the words you selected. I personally think that most of those fit better, but I am not a native ... so what do I know? Although, your choice of "suciedad" maybe a better fit.

The GREEN is the phrase in question. I don't think Google conveyed the idea you were trying to get across. When you translate it back, it comes out this way:

Immigrants from Ireland, Albania, Poland, Italy. Men, women, children, land, and bags together. Throughout the day, the long procession of the files, step by step, with packages and boxes and trunks

But, it isn't just "with" that you want. You want to convey the idea of "carrying" the packages. Llevar means to carry. So, maybe that would be a better word to use. Let's see what the others have to say. I just thought I would try.

Obviously, with ellos and con exchanging places. Because I would think that ellos would refer to the travelers, verdad?

If you say "llevando ellos con bultos" it doesn't make sense, either you leave it like this (llevando con ellos bultos) or you may as well omit it (llevando bultos). And yes, ellos refer to the travelers. I would use it because it completes the image in a sort of way (I imagine each of the travelers carrying a box or a trunk), but it is perfectly correct without it.

I had a brain freeze. After I read it again, it makes more sense as "llevando con ellos bultos." It even makes more sense in english ... "carrying with them bundles."

To further the imagery, could you use the reflexive form?

"llevándose con ellos bultos."

How does this change the meaning? Is it correct?

"Llevandose los bultos, las cajas..." so you have to use the article (definite or indefinite) and omit con ellos.

Other examples:
Si te vas, llevate el perro! - If you leave, take the dog with you!
Traete una manzana! - Bring an apple!
