Thread: Building / Construction Phrase

I need the following phrase translated for a technical manual:

"Ramp (build up) floor to create high point."

This phrase is included in a diagram showing the floor sloping up to a pitch and then coming back down.

How about something like this:
acumule el piso para crear la tapa
If it needs to be a ramp in the description you can use rampa

May work. But does acumule refer more towards "accumulating/accumulation" versus "building/constructing"?

I agree with Sandra's version: Construya una rampa en el piso para obtener un punto elevado/una elevación.

Just one little thing, if the manual is for South America, "piso" is correct, but if it's for Europe, you need to say "suelo".

Popette: both "piso" and "suelo" are equally ok here. Obviously "piso" is commonly heard among builders.

Suelo:
