here i have another question regarding the The Locked Room story.

"The explanation came in the second parragraph, very bluntly, without any preamble".

my translation would be:
"La explicación apareció en el segundo párrafo, muy concreta, sin preambulo."

But I am not sure. Another word that came to my mind is concisa.

please let me know your oppinions and comments. Please also correct me if something is wrong.

Dependiendo del país en donde estés en otras palabras "sin pelos en la lengua." No necesariamente grosera, pero "sin ambagues ni tapujos." ¿Entiendes?

Everyone who answered you took it to mean clearly, frankly, etc. I understood the other other meaning the point-blank, etc. interpretation.

It seemed important to me to keep the punctuation since it gives a special rythm to the sentence.
