Thread: Two internet terms

Hello, I'm trying to provide a Spanish translation of my website menu, and there are two terms in particular that I don't know how to translate.

One is "Home" (or start, or main). Can I say "Comienzo" or is there another word?

The other is "Contact form".
Is it "Impreso de mensaje" or "Mensaje del impreso"? It seems no matter how much I think about it, I cannot get my head around it...
Even if there is a much better phrase for it, it would be nice to know what order the words would be written in.
The first was my original thought, but the second option, could it not mean "message from form"?

I would say Inicio instead of Comienzo...And as far as I understand "Contact form" could be translate as "Página de contacto"..."Formato de contacto" or "Planilla de contacto"...

Home = Inicio/Principal
Contact form = Página/Planilla de contacto

"Home" is now changed to "Inicio" and "Contact form" to "Página de contacto" (which you all seem to agree on ).

Just out of curiosity; does the word planilla have the same meaning in America and Europe?

Planilla seems to be very popular in America, not so in Spain.

De acuerdo con la RAE:

formulario, ria.
1. adj. Perteneciente o relativo a las fórmulas o al formulismo.
2. adj. Dicho de una cosa: Que se hace por fórmula, cubriendo las apariencias.
3. m. Impreso con espacios en blanco.
4. m. Libro o escrito en que se contienen fórmulas que se han de observar para la petición, expedición o ejecución de algo.

Por eso te decía que formulario es más apropiado que planilla. La palabra página funciona perfectamente también.
